It's was Sonam Kapoor's birthday yesterday and social media was filled with Happy Birthday messages. Veteran actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha too took to his Twitter handle to wish the lady. However, he made a major goof up leading to Twitterverse incessantly trolling him. He shared a family picture of sorts that had the Sinha family posing with Anil Kapoor. The picture did not have birthday girl Sonam Kapoor in it and that made Twitterati laugh hard.

Quite a few people on Twitter reacted to Shatrughan Sinha's post and even dragged in Anil Kapoor's film Mr India. A user wrote, "Just in: Shatrughan Sinha drops a major hint of continuation of Mr. India franchise According to sources, the film is titled Ms. India & Sonam Kapoor stars in the film as the lead Anil kapoor is playing Sonam's 30 year old son Yes, you guessed it right. This is a prequel." Another one created a meme over this by including Kapil Dev and his dialogue "Mushkil toh nahi keh sakte, lekin tough zaroor lag raha".

Upon learning the goof up, Shatrughan Sinha immediately deleted the tweet from his handle. Well, it is the effort that counts, isn't it? We sure Sonam Kapoor would have been happy enough to receive a birthday wish from Shatrughan Sinha.

Talking about her birthday scenes, Sonam celebrated it at home amidst the lockdown along with her family members. Hubby Anand Ahuja went all out to make this occasion special for her.
